Mark Reimler met with the new District Ranger, Carl Bauer, and is pushing to set up a meeting with him in September to discuss our issues.
We are going to purchase insurance for the club leadership team. Once this is done, we should be able to promote more riding options through our club's social media.
We will be planning a workday on Pipeline soon. We will also be planning a cleanup day, TBD. We chose not to do a "litter letter", but will still do a cleanup like we did last year, probably in the same area.
The APEX bike race only needs our support for one day, Sunday, 25 Sep 2022. We are looking for 4 volunteers, but can use more. Should be an easy day up on the Buckhorn saddle portion of Captain Jacks trail. Provide trail marshalling, and then pull race markers after the last rider comes through. We had a lot of fun doing this last year, should be fun again this year.
Jim Bensberg was our member spotlight. Good to see Jim back at a meeting and doing well.
