Mark Reimler was on the mend, so Mark Miquelon ran the meeting. He did a great job!
Cory Sutela of Medicine Wheel gave a short presentation on the Outdoor Recreation & Conservation Vision Plan for the Pikes Peak Region. Those slides are available to view in our meeting slides document library.
Micah Rice was also there and we discussed our support for this year's APEX bicycle race in September. We will probably only be supporting the Sunday race, as they have moved the race location for Friday to Canon City and Saturday's loop is still TBD.
There was a lively discussion on club insurance, something we will be moving forward on very soon. Once we have insurance, we should be able to do more activities without assuming risk.
We also discussed more membership options, such as a method to sign up for greater than one year at a time, and possibly a "lifetime" membership option.
