Big news is we are offering CMTRA Club Klim jerseys for sale. We are taking orders through 30 April 2025. They are $64 and you may order one by contacting Tad Hershey, our membership director. His contact info is membership@cmtrail.org
Micah Rice, the Colorado Springs APEX bicycle race director, gave us some insight on this year's race agenda. CMTRA will support the race on Sunday, 8 June, as we have in the past, up on Captain Jacks at the Buckhorn trail intersection. We'll be soliciting for volunteers soon. The APEX will also be doing a 135 mile gravel race from Colorado Springs to Canon City and back. They may need some motorcycle escorts for that event. Our member spotlight was Dave Gardner. Dave had a bit of a tumble on a recent ride at Bangs Canyon in Grand Junction CO. Broke his left arm and needed surgery to repair it. He'll be back on his bike soon. Speedy recovery, Dave!
Lastly, the weather is looking very good for this coming weekend. If you want to get out and ride, Bret Williamson and some others will be riding out of Phantom Creek trailhead up in North Divide on Saturday, 12 Apr 2025. Meet at the trailhead 0930-1000. Get out and ride!
